By putting clients’ needs first and staying closely attuned to what each family or individual is really looking for, he’s built a business rooted in trust rather than transactions, earning him a loyal client base and genuine friendships throughout the industry.

Growing up in Serbia, Maté captained the Serbian national rugby team at the U-18 and U-20 levels and served as vice-captain for the senior team. That experience shaped the way he leads today, with the same discipline, communication, and team-first mindset carrying directly into his real estate career. He served on the Agent Leadership Council at his previous brokerage, and for four years he’s held the roles of Residential Chair and YPN Chair on the Miami and R World Association of Realtors, the largest board in the country. He’s also been named State Director for Florida Realtors multiple times.

That same drive for improvement shows up in how Maté runs his business. He earned the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation in December 2018, a credential held by fewer than 3% of Realtors and considered the gold standard in residential real estate, and he continues to treat every transaction as a chance to refine his process and deliver a better experience for the next client.

Since 2019, Maté has ranked in the top 1 to 2% of producers in Miami, a distinction he credits to the clients who’ve trusted him along the way. In 2020, he was named to a top 20 under 40 list, recognizing an elite group of young professionals shaping the future of the real estate industry.
